Days of Grace 5-11-09
1. Here’s a plug for wordpress: I really love their blogging platform, love the after-basics plugins, and continue to use the software on my own site because I can make it do anything I want. Three cheers for groups of programmers who support open source software. Huzzah!
2. My dog is even lazier than I am. Makes me look much less of a slug than I actually am.
3. It’s nice having clear skin again. The DHEA really did a number on me in that department, and it’s lovely feeling like a grownup again when I look in the mirror.
4. The backyard looks beautiful, thanks to the devoted efforts of the boy. He swept up the dried up husks of magnolia flowers, he raked the back yard. It looks lovely, and he’s the best.
5. I’m not at work. Even though I know I’ll be paying for it this Saturday, it’s lovely being home when I’d normally be walking in the door to start another day of drudgery. Writing day today, and that’s always more fun than librarianing.
