Days of Grace 7-21-09
1. Refrigerators. They keep my ginger ale cool. And my prune juice. And my made-from-water-buffalo-milk fancy-schmancy yogurt. And my gazpacho. I love the refrigerator because without it, I’m not sure I’d've gotten anything down my throat yesterday at all.
2. Seasick bands. Really. I was having a hard time remaining upright. And then I felt better. Slightly better. It might have been the seasick bands, it might have been simply my time to start feeling a little more human. All I can say is I’m here now and I didn’t drown in a pool of my own vomit, nor did I spend more than four hours midday lying on the bed with an arm thrown melodramatically across my face. Seasick bands rock.
3. New recipe for ginger fish. Not at all greasy. Very ginger-y. Both good things for me right now.
4. It’s raining, which always makes me happy – desert girl that I am.
5. Farm tomatoes. It’s like eating the sun. If the sun were squishy and bright red and delicious.
It’s raining here too. I just love it!
