Days of Grace 7-25-09
1. It was fun watching Coraline and then going to bed as soon as I felt like it. Which was at, like, 9pm.
2. Last work day of the week, which is only a good thing. I need a vacation. Fortunately, the fall is positively littered with scheduled vacation days.
3. When the backyard is overgrown with summer, it looks, from the angle at the kitchen window, a teeny bit like a corner of forest. Feels very safe, very protected.
4. It sounds like my folks are considering a trip out here in March after Sprog is born! This is muy exciting, and I’m already looking forward to it.
5. Only 4 sleeps until my first normal-lady appointment. And possibly an ultrasound. Not that I want one, or anything, because I’m sure not worried anything’s wrong with the Sprog.
Hah.
I am excited for you to have a normal lady appointment too! And another ultrasound would be phenomenal! I am probably going to beg for at least a blood draw on Monday – I do not think I can make it through the week without some update…

I have decided to just wait until Friday – I have to learn to control my fears – I have “good” reason to think the worst has happened. Plus, if it is bad news, I guess I would want to know about it after my week is over. Quite the optimists, aren’t we?
