10 weeks!
And that’s surely something to celebrate! With a lack of needles, perhaps! Woohoo!! PIO is over! WOOHOO!!!
Of course, now I get to watch & wait to see if all my remaining symptoms evaporate. The doppler should be arriving today or tomorrow or Thursday, and I’m really looking forward to that. (Duh). Hoping – oh GOD am I hoping – to hear a heartbeat on Friday, or get referred for an ultrasound or something. Needing a bit of reassurance to bolster this hard-won chipperness.
For I am chipper. My teeth might be gritted, but chipperness is there. Can’t you tell? (I know. It blends in so well with the “Perky” that I strive for, that it can be hard to see the difference.)
Being at work helps keep me distracted. Keeps me from spending too much time with Dr. Google. Which doesn’t, of course, mean that I want to be at work. I’d rather be zoning out in front of my computer, sleeping every 3 hours, when the urge hits. Walking the dog. God, I’m exhausted and it’s only Tuesday. Fortunately, our only social commitments this week revolve around food, so that’s all good.
Yawn. Chipper. Perky. Not-worried-at-all.
Lalalalalalalalalalala!

Yay! 10w! Soon, you will be out of your first trimester! So exciting!!!
10 weeks – Congratulations!!!! I’m so jealous your PIO is over – that’s definitely something to celebrate! I’m so happy for you. Way to be chipper and perky – keep working on it!
YAY!!! Congratulations on your 10 weeks of sprogmaking! and congratulations on being over the PIO hump. That is totally cool.
No more shots!! Whoo hoo!
Thanks for being in my corner Susan, I am still hoping that this season of miracles decides to include me too- but hey, I love being happy for other folks too, and you top my list. Perky perky you.
warmly,
Kate
PS I think it is possible to cry and sing at the very same time. I’m just sayin’.
How absolutely wonderful. 10 weeks and off PIO too! I think it must be better than Christmas. Hooray for reasons to be perky. Hooray for spicy food loving sprogs! Wishing you all the best and smooth sailing in the 30 weeks to go!
Fantastic! No more needles – that is really, really cool. Yay for 10 weeks – that is amazing.
10 weeks! Yay! Slowly but surely you’re getting there! Keep your chin up and keep smiling!
Hooray for 10w! I feel like your first tri is flying by – easy for me to say, I know
Ten weeks is AWESOME. I’ve heard symptoms tend to slowly start retreating around now so don’t be too scared if it happens. Dr. Google! I just used that in my post, lol. Dr. Google, Pastor Google, Professor Google…its always there for me. But you can give Dr. Google the boot now, just focus on enjoying your pregnancy, hit up the target and babies-r-us websites and dream about your registry. You have beat the major hurdles and here’s to fingers and toes crossed you pass the others with flying colors!
10 hip hips in a row! I’m thrilled!
