We’re a go!!!
Ok, so we’re on! Donor’s testing came back fine, as we really knew it would since she just did this. TIming is as follows:
- Wait for my period – probably another 10 days. On day 2, I have to go in to the clinic – likely on my 40th birthday! Check for cysts, etc.
- Start Lupron. I will be on Lupron for over a month. You might want to find a fallout shelter right now, because I guarantee it’s going to get ugly.
- Ms DonorFantastica will apparently synch up with me, not the other way around. She’ll get meshed with me, and then start stimming.
My nurse estimated that from the time of my period, it’d be 4 or 5 weeks from start to finish. Which puts us at December 8-15 for transfer. (Which means I SHOULD have taken the appointment yesterday.) Which means I’m going to be giving birth while the Boy’s extended family is in Italy next year. GOD I HOPE I HAVE TO MISS THAT TRIP!!!
Come on, period! Let’s get the blood a’flowing! Let’s start this show and get it going! Come on, period, come on!

Oh hooray! That is wonderful news, really glad you have your next steps all mapped out. I have a really good feeling about this!
WONDERFUL news!
Yahoo!! I’m glad things are moving along!
WHOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Am. So. Excited.
Maybe too excited? I just get so invested in the journeys of my IF sisters. My fingers and toes are crossed for you.
yay! but really, didn’t i tell you that i could get your tickets to the martha stewart show on your/our birthday? won’t that be more fun than going to the clinic. ( you know the answer)
Oh I’m so excited for you! I am so hoping we get to be pregnant at the same time – just a few weeks apart. How cool would that be! Come on, AF – let’s get this show on the road. If for some reason she decides not to show up – remember a little PIO will do the trick – pretty much immediately for me – but I’m hoping you don’t have to worry about all that like I did. Yay for getting started!
Awesome news..
Things do get ugly with lupron..Wishing you all the best in this upcoming cycle..
I am just 2 hours post transfer..and can remember the lupron days…

I’ve been lurking and reading your blog for awhile now. But I just had to de-lurk today and say YAY! I’m so glad you’re moving forward with this cycle. And good luck with the lupron, boy, I really hate that stuff too.
