Days of Grace 11-20-09
1. Dinner was fun, delish, and a much-needed break. Thank you, Mo!
2. We’re off to Connecticut tonight, after dinner (to avoid traffic) and I’m looking forward to “using up” a few of the days between now & Wednesday in a pleasant place with nice people and a lawn for the dog to frolic on.
3. My nurse says that the spotting is totally normal. (Whew!) And I got her to tell me the next step of my process. After next week, assuming all is normal with both of us, they’ll need to see me next on Friday the 4th for an U/S, make sure my lining is where it needs to be. By which point she will have been stimming for a week or so. Retrieval the 2nd week in December, and transfer late that week, it sounds like.
Oh my!
4. It’s been great wearing blue jeans to work. Being comfortable and casual all day long has been great – especially this bloaty week.
5. Two mockingbirds are chasing each other around the backyard. Can’t tell if they’re fighting or playing because I don’t know enough about avian behavior to tell the difference. Pretty fun to watch, though.

So glad to hear that the spotting is normal – that’s good news! Wow – I can’t believe how quickly everything is coming together for you – that’s so exciting. Your comments about being comfortable in your jeans made me realize that it really is time to buy some new jeans – because that’s the point – they are supposed to be comfortable. Unlike mine, where I have to unbutton them to sit down and feel miserable the entire time I have them on!
Your cycle feels like it is moving so wonderfully fast!
Hate the lupron, I think it is ennui-causing, I really do. Bloat and blah.
And you, so glad you are off to CT, and a yard for nellie! and space and air and things to see that are different or in different sizes or different amounts! (grass, trees, how far “over there” is…)
thinking of you,
and hoping that the second week of december comes with a great retrieval with lots of good options and that you are totally knocked up before christmas.
