Days of Grace 11-21-09
1. I love it up here, and it was so warm today that I took Nellie out several (ok, 10 or 11) times without even having to stop to put on a coat. The grass is still green and although most of the leaves are gone, myin-laws have a lot of rhododendrons and evergreens around the house that are as beautiful as ever. Gorgeous!
2. I went outside last night to enjoy the quiet and the darkness. Orion was just over the horizon and seeing the stars felt like greeting a group of old friends. Hello Cassiopeia! Hello Orion! Hello Pleiades! Remember me? It’s been a while, I know.
3. Seeing the dog just giddy with joy at having the ability to stretch out and really RUN. God, there are times (many times, actually) when I wish I were a whippet.
4. Got some really good writing done here. I don’t know if it’s the peace and beauty of the place, or simply the lack of good wireless access (typing this perched on the back of a sofa on the boy’s computer plugged into a dial-up modem.) But whatever it was, it was pretty amazing – I accomplished more than I have in weeks.
5. Spotting stopped. I had baby dreams last night. I’m back to feeling cautiously hopeful about this cycle again. All good things. Leading to more good things, I’m hoping…

That sounds lovely! That’s how it is here, green rolling hills with mostly bare-leaved mountains behind them. I miss the fall color, but it’s still pretty. And definitely the no coat days in November are appreciated!
I’m glad some of the hope is returning.
Sounds wonderful and I am so glad you had a nice baby dream.
Thanks for stopping by my blog (ICLW). SOUNDS like you have a lot going on. I’m lucky forward to hear what happens next.
