Days of Grace 12-3-09
1. Any worries I had about being overworked at this busiest of branches are ridiculously laughable. I have nothing to do. I am completely redundant. This is not entirely a bad thing, given the fact that my stress levels are likely to rise soon…
2. Took my last Cipro this morning, and I am pleased to announce that I seem to have made a complete recovery. Never been so happy to pee in all my life.
3. The sight of my dog chasing a squirrel madly around the backyard. I swear the little guy was taunting her with his ability to run up walls and along telephone wires.
4. My favorite Italian coffee shop has started selling Italian hot chocolate. I’m down to a cup or two of coffee per week, but I’ll be off it entirely once her retrieval gets here – if we ever get to retrieval. No worries! I will simply switch the coffee habit for a sugar habit! Woohoo!
(and what embryo wouldn’t want to snuggle into a place where he’s guaranteed a nice chocolate buzz every day without fail?)
Though I suppose I should check the caffeine levels of Italian hot chocolate. The stuff’s like a melted chocolate bar, so maybe that’s not such a smart switch after all?
5. My bike trainer arrived, and I’m going to open it up right as soon as I finish my coffee & yogurt (I’m all over it, Alyssa! Thank you for the reminder, though!) Hoping that I enjoy riding it enough to stick with it long enough to see results. Very happy it’s green.

YAY to the better bladder (gosh darn, those suck), yay to the hopeful whippet, the hot chocolate (YUM) and the green trainer. I hope you love it!
happy thursday. My day started with a rainbow.

wait! don’t stop probiotics once you’ve stopped the cipro. you don’t have to believe me. just ask kate about the week i spent in the hospital on IV antibiotics. ok, i lost 12 pounds. and there are far healthier ways to lose 12 pounds, but no easier ones. and they gave me awesome painkillers.
regardless, you cannot do this cycle if you’re in the hospital trying to save your colon. trust me on this.
