Only symptoms really jumping to the forefront are PIO symptoms – crazy dreams, The Hunger, the Thirst, (and therefore, The Peeing). But nothing really screams “Woohoo! Pregnant!” to me.
And that sucks.
Early days, I know, but I’m rather, um, impatient anyway, and have had my hopes up so very high for such a long time that it’s really going to, well, suck, if this comes to nothing.
But we’re not thinking about that. No, we’re not. Really. Not at all.
We’re thinking about baby names and nursery themes. We’re thinking about how much easier the Lovenox shots have gotten since they aren’t bruising the hell out of me anymore. We’re thinking about putting up a new & improved Lovenox tutorial, in fact, because the ones I found when I was first trying to figure the damned things out just scared me instead of empowering me. And since I’m going to be taking this stuff for another 7 months or so, I owe it to the Internets to repay some of the help I’ve found therein. Or so says my must-stay-busy brain. We’re thinking about new apps for my new iPod toy. We’re thinking about interviewing OBs and we’re thinking about making up a new excell chart for the iPod. Hell, we’re having silly little thoughts about learning to write apps.
We’re not thinking about sore breasts. We’re not obsessively checking the size, shape, and texture of nipples in the mirror every time the bathroom door locks the world outside. We’re not perfectly happy to wake up with a growling stomach. We’re not delighted to be constipated. We’re not smiling at every belly cramp. No, not at all. Really. Not even a little bit.
Really.
Really.

You go girl! Get a bunch of stuff done with all that pent up energy. I’m sure it is a perfect sign of big time pregnancy. Ipod sounds really cool, wish I had one but I’m still dithering about what phone to get…
I know that PIO can mimic pregnancy symptoms, but I’ve had IVF’s where I didn’t even get symptoms from the HCG shot, so maybe the symptoms are mroe real than memorex…that’s my hope!
Sounds like you are holding it together so well. Good for you! Everything crossed that this is it…
I love the optimism! Every reason to think about these things. And since you’re thinking about it, the iPod app you must get when you get your BFP is “iPregnancy” — it’s the one by a Dr. Gregory Moore and includes a countdown to your due date, pictures of what your baby looks like each week, information on the baby/your body and a name picker. You will have to let me know what you think of it!
I haven’t done the POI shots, but I did have three cycles of Prometrium suppositories. It gave me some of THE most bizarre dreams. Most of them based on paranoia over something. They were awful. UGH.
Still crossing everything for you.
I understand about PIO being a pregnancy symptom mimicker, been there, did that, however the 3 times I did actually get pregnant the only symptom that PIO didn’t seem to mimic and I ended up being pregnant was…..waking up with hunger pains. These started about 8-9 DPO and were spot on every time so I was really stoked when I read about your “not” hunger pains, great news.
Being that you are a test addict as you say, then you would know that you “could” start testing earlier than friday with great chance of seeing something without tilted light or plucking the test from the comfort of it’s case. Just saying….
I think making new Lovenox videos is a great idea. You should do it! The ones I watched scared the shit out of me! Those sure are some nice symptoms you are ignoring. So, not to encourage POASing or anything, but when are you gonna do it
…
Hoping hoping hoping hoping hoping hoping hoping hoping hoping for you : )
Absolutely love your positive attitude! The wait is mind-numbing, and lasts forever, but you are almost to the end! And it sounds like things are looking good…best of luck (and thanks for all the support and comments)!
You’re doing fine kiddo. Hang in there. Remember that this time you don’t have all of the OV stimulation crap in your system so it will feel a little different than some previous times. Hoping and wishing and praying that the universe will come through and you’ll get some great news soon.
I second Mo’s comment.
I third Mo’s comment!
Thinking of you!!!!
and yes, a lovenox tutorial would be so wonderful because what is out there makes it seem way scarier than it is.
Oh, don’t get me started about nipples. Who knew they could morph into so many different forms when you really scrutinize them??? Baby names – what a lovely thing to focus on. You know I’m keeping everything crossed for you!! When do you join the POAS Club???
