1.  The tech in charge of billing was the one who was in at my appointment, so I was able to tell her that we still haven’t cleared up the insurance snafu that’s making my life a living hell.  She tried to change my carrier on the lab’s website while I watched and we both witnessed how the database would not accept it.  Grrrr.  But, this means she’s going to call them and get them to deal with this so I’ll stop getting billed for covered procedures.  I’m bummed it’s taken so long, but glad to finally have some progress on the issue!

2.  I was able to come home after my blooddraw, which is good because I was starving and didn’t want to be pulling a late shift on no breakfast.  Cereal is my friend.

3.  It was fun to be able to confess to my nurses that “I tested early! I’m pregnant!”  and watch them grin from ear to ear.  Now, I’m just hoping for stellar hCG levels so that the happy can continue.

4. The mussels I made for dinner last night were out of this world. Very simple wine & tarragon & oregano & cream sauce, steamed – oh MY!

5.  A busy week – a good busy week – planned, and then a week off, next, wherein we’ll go to NH & MA & Canada & ME.  Visiting friends & family, having some ‘us’ time, (because what’s more fun than a road trip in the snow?) And I’m looking forward to the distraction between second beta & heartbeat scan!

You just made me want to make mussels in white wine and garlic sauce for dinner! YUMMMM! But I’m trying to limit my shellfish intake…though if I don’t eat any other fish this week, I can do it this weekend. Ugh, I’m hungry.

You are killing me. I keep checking back for beta numbers. I’m just so excited to see great things after all you’ve been through! And, this is gonna be great. I wanna see big preggo belly pics of you too soon!
