Days of Grace 2-2-10

1.  Chips & salsa.  And Japanese Sweet potatoes.  And miso.  Give me strong tastes, and give them to me now.  Not that strong tastes are necessarily a good thing the second time around, but it’s the only way I’m getting anything down in the first place, so I guess it’s better than nothing.

2.  Symptoms.  I’m loving the fact that even when I’m shaking in a corner, I have symptoms that the non-crazy portion of my brain can point to and say, “um, everything’s fine, you big whiner. Totally pregnant.”  This would be harder if the symptoms weren’t so damned strong, and I’m not entirely sure I could take “harder” right now.

3.  Organic cheerios from Mom’s Best Naturals are still my best friend in the morning.  Plus, they’re about half the price of real cheerios, so every time I pour myself a big bowl, I feel like I’m getting a bargain…

4.  Trying desperately to find something good about going back to the Realm of Pain today, and all I can come up with is that it will be nice to see some of my co-workers.  Sorry, but that’s all I’ve got.

5.  Maybe I’ll bribe myself with nutella and lipinje (pita bread) today.  It is definitely a day that only chocolate can redeem.
