All is Well
Sorry it took so long to get to a computer – and bless you, Sarah, for checking in with me! – all is well.
Whew.
Which is to say, I’ve got approximately 37 hours before I start to freakin’ lose my mind again.
And, weirdly, my doc is kicking me out – next week will be my last RE appointment. I have to find an OB (with a kick-ass ultrasound machine and a yen to use it!) and set up an appointment.
Just like pregnant ladies do.
Hearts are beating away – though I was too freaked out to even get a record of how fast – but steady, and “perfect” in my doc’s words – and they’re both measuring exactly at 7w3d. Which is reassuring (again, for 36.5 hours or so.)
I’ll write more later, but wanted to thank you all for the strong shoulders and bracing words of support. My doc’s going to see what my APAs are doing, and think about changing my progesterone dosages to see if we can’t stop this bleeding and give me a bit of peace.
Not that Iexpect to relax, but it’d be nice to ease down off of DefCon4 (or is it DefCon1? I am SO not a wargames gal…)
Oh, and my fortune cookie this noon read “You will find success in your new venture.”
Ok. I’ll take it.
All is well.
All is well.
All is well.

Praise the gods/goddess/all-that-is
I’ve been stalking your blog like a crazy person
so very happy ALL IS WELL
phew!
so very happy.
love,
Kate
Yay!!! I’m so relieved for you!!!
I’ve been stalking too! So glad for your news. I’m JUST like you! The ultrasound provided relief for about 36 hours and then the spotting would start again and panic would set in. It is sooo hard this rollercoaster. Good luck on finding an OB that you are comfortable with. I have to say the transition from RE to OB was kinda stressful. I went from being a miracle of conception to just another pg woman. Ouch! I love your fortune cookie fortune. Mine right after my transfer said “An unexpected relationship will become permanent”. I took it as a positive sign
Again, so relieved for your news, Susan! Yay!
I’m thrilled to hear the good news
Gosh, I like it when fortune cookies tell you want you need to hear! I’m so glad things look good.
YAY!
Thanks for updating us.
Take that fortune cookie and stick it up on your bathroom mirror or somewhere else you will see it every day!
Yay! I’m so happy to hear all is well!
Thank god! I was checking your site on my blackberry at a client meeting every 5 minutes thinking of you!
Great news!
“Just like pregnant ladies do”! Made me grin from ear to ear. You’re SOOOOO pregnant.
Yay!!!!!! Okay, that is all. Just had to say that. So happy.
Whoo hoo! Enjoy the beginning of many months of “like a real prgnant lady”! I amso happy for you!
Thanks for the update and congrats on the continued good news. I hope you find a way to have a talk with yourself and come to terms with the worry, to find a neutral place even. I will not be so cavalier as to say “relax” because having been there that is impossible, but will say “hold on”.
My mantra became “una la volta” — loosely translated to mean one thing at a time, which was about all I could muster.
Exhale.
Glad to hear the good news, and I hope you can hang onto it for as long as possible.
Phew! Welcome to regular pregnant lady world.
So very relieved for you. Sheesh. You’ve got us all worried
.
Whew! Yay!
