The nurses recommended Crystal Light when I was in the hospital, to help get all the fluids I needed. It would take forever to drink 5-6 32oz pitchers but with the Crystal Light, it went much quicker!

oh, i know about the puking phobia. my record was 26 years... till a week and a half ago when i was in the hospital. i'm glad the memories of it are fuzzy, otherwise it would be repeating in my head.

The first trimester, I survived on homemade lemonade and frozen french fries which is funny b/c I don't eat sugared drinks or eat processed food, lol. Best thing I ever bought - bag of lemons and a $1.50 citrus squeezer from target. I made a ton of homemade lemonade which was the only thing that could settle my stomach. Glad you found your trick too!

I actually miss the nausea now. It was reassuring. Now I only have the 'round ligament pain' to remind me (not that I could forget for a moment, but it's a way of speaking) that the bloating shelters in fact a growing someone.
And the spotting to distract my attention - I officially hate it, because apparently it did not get the 'beginning of 2nd trim' memo and just thought it would be swell to show up again. Darn spotting! But it will go away.
Enjoy your mildly reassuring pregnancy genes you inherited and try to ignore the work environment (if possible).

Glad the spotting has stopped. I stopped spotting about the same time and thankfully, it has not returned. Yeah, for the blech, too! Reassuring!

Hi - delurking to tell you 1. congratulations! 2. amazing blog 3. i am rooting for you and 4. (you probably already know this but...) watch out for hyponatremia, it can be dangerous to drink too much water as it can dilute your electrolytes to toxic levels - 100 ounces sounds like a lot! Good that you are drinking diluted lemonade which likely has electrolytes in it but nonetheless be careful! (yay, just what every pregnant woman wants/needs MORE unsolicited, nagging advice).
