Days of Grace 2-10-10

1.  Tomatoes and bagels and butter.  Oh, if only it were summertime, but even cardboard tomatoes are making me happy these days!

2.  Snow!  Glorious snow!  GLORIOUS SNOW WHICH JUST CLOSED MY LIBRARY, GIVING ME AN ADULT SNOW DAY!!!!  Of course, it will be quite the effort to get to Manhattan for the appointment, but at least it’s pretty out there, with the snow sticking to every tree branch & dried leaf.  And I’m not at work.  AND I”M NOT AT WORK!!!!!  Holiday!  Party!  WOOHOO!!

3.  Appointment today.  I’m starting to get really nervous that my new OB won’t want to do an ultrasound every week for me.  At least I get this one.

4.  The ultra-hydration seems to be helping, though I bled a bit last night, which was unexpected after more than 24 hours with no spotting.  Stupid body.  Still, better than it was.

5.  I had the most wonderful time going out to dinner with a friend last night.  Sometimes, just sitting around and talking and eating good food is the best thing ever.  Last night was one of those nights.  Thanks, M.

  • Hoping for a good doctor’s appt. Perhaps if you talk to the new OB and tell him your concerns, even if he doesnt normally do weekly u/s’s, he will for you?

    Fingers crossed…

  • Congratulations on your unexpected day off!!!!

Best of luck convincing the OB. PLEASE post about your appt this afternoon!!! Waiting is making me crazy – and as you know I’m in the 2ww so I’m trying to focus on everyone else’s journey during this time. Ha!

My favorite is tomato sandwiches on potato bread…

  • I still love tomatoes and eat them as if they’re going out of fashion. And the ones I get at a Turkish shop, where every fruit and veg seems to taste better – mmm, yummm!

So glad you said goodbye to your RE on such a peppy tone. You surely have waiting long enough for this.
