Days of Grace 2-22-10

1.  I spent most of yesterday asleep.  I napped before lunch, after lunch, and before dinner.  My whippet is in heaven – finally, a human who understands that the best way to spend the day is sleeping!  I thought it was pretty nice, too.

2.  I also spent most of yesterday in a headache-free state of being.  Damned prednisone.  Even when I’m off it, it gives me grief…  But it’s better.  Much, much better.

3.  I went almost 12 hours with no spotting.  Yes, folks, that’s right.  The first 12-hour period since WEEK 6 that there hasn’t been blood on the tp every single time I pee.  It’s so much fun I think I’m going to go pee right now.  Just because I can, and because there might not be cause to freak the hell out.

4.  Ultrasound appointment tomorrow.  With SuperStarOB and his merry assistants.  I’m looking forward to it.  Not even scared, because, really, unless I have contracted a killer case of flu, I’m still so totally pregnant that it’s hard to be worried.  Blech.

5.  I think I’ve got (almost got) a really good book going.  I need to add several scenes and cut several scenes.  You know, second/third/eighteenth draft kind of stuff.  But it’s starting to really hang together and to build on itself and to feel like a book instead of a collection of words that bear little relation to each other.  Now if only I could concentrate on it while I’m working, I’d be all set.  But no, instead my brain has to get occupied with dealing with obnoxious customers puking in the bathroom and pulling the fire alarms.  *sigh*

My comments don’t seem to be working lately….. hmm, I will try again, I basically said I can’t wait for you now that you are more secure and less afraid, to go back to your baby bargain, nursery planning days when you first got the BFP!

Also, with heartburn, I noticed drinking a glass of milk helped me.

AND- yes Lovenox bruising SUCKS. I’ve found one side of my body handles lovenox better than the others. I stayed away from the “bad” side until my stomach expanded to a point where I had fewer spots to choose from to inject.

AND Congrats on the book!!!!!!!!! If you ever want a beta reader I’m here, I love beta reading!

  • Have you ever participated in NaNoWriMo? I just sort of discovered it, and thought it was an interesting motivational tool. Still, it seems like a huge undertaking. Pretty initimidating actually!
