1. Just saw a squirrel in the backyard. Must be getting’ on toward springtime. And if I could speak dog, Nellie would have her day’s activities all planned out. Watch the squirrel. Look at the squirrel. Bark at the squirrel. Watch the squirrel run. Hide from the squirrel. Watch the squirrel. Look at the squirrel. Bark at the squirrel. Watch the squirrel run…
2. Not at the Realm of Pain today. Which is good, because I’m having full-on anxiety attacks every time I go there. Not there today. Not there today.
3. Pink tulips just bloomed in my ‘flower-of-the-month’ pot. Very pretty. Very springtime-looking.
4. OB appointment today. It makes for a crazy day schedule-wise, but I’m still happy to go in and get some reassurance.
5. I slept all the way through the night. Granted, I woke up with such a dry mouth that I couldn’t move my tongue, but I slept through the night. Wow. Going to go drink some more water now…
I wish you the best of luck at your appointment today! I have been thinking of you and sending you my positive thoughts. We have our next appt. on Thursday, 2/25,and I am already an anxious mess! But wow, over 10 wks, double digits, such a feeling!

The squirrel mention caused me to start humming Oak Clif Bra by Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians. Not sure if you’re familiar, but it’s a strange, simple and beautiful little song that I haven’t thought about it in quite some time. Now I’m going to go listen to the album for a bit.
Simple dog brains. You can’t help but love them.
Hahaha, the squirrel thing cracked me up. My dog is the same exact way… Our poor neighbors.
