Days of Grace 2-24-10

1.  Dinner last night with SDs & inlaws was lovely.  Not because the food was good – I assume it was, but my new BFF Heartburn kept me from really enjoying it – but because the company was so nice.  I do love this family that I married into, and I know how lucky that makes me, because I hear horror stories all the time about inlaw insanity.  I am so blessed.

2.  Slept through the night again, and the prednisone-withdrawal headaches have gone away.  Ahhhhhhh……..

3.  Seed catalogs.  I have no space for a garden here, and even if I wanted to uproot perfectly healthy landscaping to plant tomatoes and chilis and brussels sprouts, we’re sort of sandwiched between buildings and don’t get a lot of sun.  But I still love daydreaming over seed catalogs, planning the perfect garden, and drooling over the pictures of other people’s perfect gardens.

4.  Yesterday’s exam didn’t produce a big bleed, for which I am duly grateful.  The spotting has, in fact, been very minimal for the last week, and I’m counting that blessing for a lot.

5.  Back to the Sane Branch today, which makes me happy.  Or at least doesn’t fill me with creeping dread, as does my schedule for the rest of the week back at the Realm of Pain.

  • Gawd – I would give a toe to sleep through the night – and if I did not plan on breast feeding, I would offer up a nipple to the sleep gods….I know, I know, it is good practice for the sleeplessness to come – but at least it will be with my sweeties and not because my va-jay-jay hurts or that I am throwing up acid. Sigh – sorry – this is your blog, not mine!!!

Just cheering for the minimal spotting!
