Days of Grace 2-25-10
1. Lovely lovely readers who cheer me up even when I’m snarly and cranky and ready to bite the next person to talk to me. Thank you.
2. Snowflakes coming down out the window that I swear are an inch across, and falling as fast as if they were made of rock. Sadly, it’s not supposed to start accumulating til later, because another snow day would really go down nicely right about now…
3. Yesterday’s shift at the Sane Branch really reminded me how much I enjoy my job when I’m allowed to do it….
4. Tums are disgusting, but not as disgusting as I’d feared. They don’t, for example, come close to the nastiness that is sublingual B12. Plus Tums come in different flavors, so if orange starts turning my stomach, I can move on to wintergreen. Or lemon. Since I suspect these little chalky tablets are going to be my new best friend, I am grateful that the makers thought of things like that.
5. I get to see/meet Mekate this weekend. ”See” because I feel like I’ve known her for years and years, “meet” because I’ve, well, never met her and probably wouldn’t recognize her on the street. So so so so so much looking forward to this!

Watching the snow fall sounds so peaceful. I’d love to be doing that (I live in San Diego). Have fun with Kate. I met one of my blog buddies a few months ago. It’s nice to be with people who get it and of course, to match a face to someone you’ve been spilling your guts to for so long.
I am just a reader…and wanted to let you know that Tums Smoothies are really good. I took peppermint at night and the berry during the day.. I had no idea how many i actually chewed until the pharmacist at our store commented on my lack of purchasing!
Good luck to you. I can’t wait for you to experience all that you are wishing for! I delivered my first baby in December and it was amazing.
