i bought a HIGH CHAIR!
Yeah. For real. It’s in my kitchen. This is totally different from the mound of clothes, books, toys, etc. currently taking over my bedroom. This is in our kitchen:

And it was on sale for about half off, making it a better price than any of the ones I’ve seen outside of IKEA. And it’s one of the one’s I’ve had in my registry.
I bought a high chair. For Thor (whose actual name is under revision yet again. But that doesn’t matter because at least the tiny nameless one will have a HIGH CHAIR to sit in, in, say, February.)

It’s a “Bloom Nano Urban” high chair. I think Bloom is the brand name, and yeah, not a single duck nor bunny. Nice leathery vinylette thing going on, and while I was hemming & hawing in the going-out-of-business baby store, a couple came up and told me that they LOVED theirs. Which pretty much cinched the deal for me.
And yeah, I went and gloated over it again tonight because high chair? In the kitchen?
WAY COOL.
Whoa — when you start talking about Thor being big enough for a high chair in Feb I start thinking “that is not that far off” and then this whole actually having a baby thing seems pretty darn immediate. Pretty fabulous. Congrats on the purchase!
